Ogle County 4-H Fair Judging Results 2023 Part 1

The kids worked hard on all their 4-H Fair Projects & did a great job! Several State Delegate & State Alternate ribbons were earned. We are proud of them regardless of the outcome. ❤️ We love seeing all the creativity & imagination & hard work!

(The pictures are in no particular order…I’m merely trying to sort through & share dozens of pictures & not miss anything. 😀)

Lucas earned a Blue ribbon, Champion, & State Delegate with his Foccaccia Bread!

Keira earned a Blue ribbon, Champion & State Alternate for her Golden Sponge Cake.
Logan earned a Blue ribbon, Champion & State Alternate for his Sweet Rolls!
Logan earned a Blue ribbon, Champion & State Alternate for his French Bread!
Logan earned a Blue ribbon & Top of Class for his decorated eggs “Float-y-sburg”…he spray painted the plate Blue, 2 of the eggs are in the white part (which is an iceberg) & the black one at the front is a Penguin. 😀

Keira earned a Blue ribbon for her decorated eggs, which are the “Midnight Sky” (hard to see, but they were painted with black sparkly paint)
Lucas earned a Blue ribbon for his decorated eggs. They are painted Blue, with red wings & white U.S.A. on them.
Keira with her sewing project – a hot/cold pack that she made as a gift for Uncle Don & Aunt Julie – it says “Don’s Donuts” on one side & “Julie’s Java” on the other…from their donut/coffee shop they owned for over 20 years & just sold. ❤️
Emmalyn’s decorated eggs earned a Blue ribbon & were decorated as characters from Bambi – Bambi, Thumper & Flower (the skunk)
Lucas earned a Blue ribbon for his Creative Writing short story – “The Dragon Prince”
Logan with his clay dragon…that unfortunately had its demise after judging & fell apart, so it’s in a special box to protect it
Keira earned a Blue ribbon for her Creative Writing short story – “I Just Want to Play the Piano”
