Cow Appreciation Day

Cow Appreciation Day

Today was Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-a. Lizzy worked hard the past couple days making costumes for our family. She had a blast making them!

The kids with their neat costumes that
Lizzy made – complete with cow ears, signs & a cow bell… our “herd” 🙂 (see below)
When we crossed the parking lot & got close to the photo booth at the front of the restaurant, the employees gasped & said “Woah, look, it’s a herd!” LOL

Since it was an hour drive, we wanted to take the opportunity to do something else while we were in Rockford, so we met another family at the Nicholas Conservatory after lunch. It was HOT! And I didn’t take many pictures, but it was fun! We have never been. It was beautiful – a lot of different flowers, little waterfalls, ducks & swans, many walkpaths, etc.
