July 2023 Family Funnies 😂
We were at the splash pad & the kids got soaked. On the way home, Ellie asks, “Can you wash & dry my clothes please? Or we could just dryering them instead of washing & dryering. They don’t need to be more wet!” 🤣
Lucas (12) made dinner one night of Kielbasa & sauerkraut…
Ellie got her bowl of food & says, “You’re the best cook at this food!”
(Not that I’m offended if he does it better than me…but we DO add brown sugar to “soften” the sauerkraut taste).
Me: “How much sugar did you add?”
Lucas: “Um…MAYBE too much!” 🤪🤣
We were at a Homeschool field trip where they were doing a Viking Era presentation. The presenter was passing items around for everyone to touch/hold. One of the items was a bear pelt.
Ellie says, “What IS that?”
Me: “A bear pelt! Isn’t that neat?!”
Ellie: “WHAT?! I never wanted to touch a bear!! Eww!”
We were driving for a quite a while in the van. All of a sudden Emma, pulling at her ear. Says, “I think my earbuds have closed up!”
“Um, do you mean eardrums?”
Emmalyn: “Yeah!” 🤣
We had gone to Lake LaDonna the day before & some of our kids have nose plugs. Ellie went down the slide over & over & got some water in her mouth.
Ellie: “Do we have any mouth plugs?”
I chuckled & told her, “No, you just keep your mouth closed!”
