KY Trip November 2023 Part 1

Last December, we went to the Ark Encounter & Creation Museum in KY. We bought an annual pass (surprisingly, a less expensive option for a family our size). Since it was going to expire soon, we made some last-minute plans to make a quick trip there the week of Thanksgiving. It was our 3rd time going…the 1st time McKaylee brought her bf/now husband. Last year, Lexa brought her now husband. This year, Elizabeth brought a good friend of hers, Bailey. 😀

We left early in the morning & after not too long, almost everyone was asleep.

We’ve never not eaten Thanksgiving meal at home, & had no idea what to expect. Made us very grateful for the people working that day & also probably won’t ever do that again!

Cracker Barrel was one of the few places open Thanksgiving Day & since it has long been a family tradition to eat there while traveling, we chose to have an early dinner there. When we showed up, at 3pm, we discovered there was a 1 1/2 hour wait!! 😳 Thankfully, we went early! 😀
