March 2021 Family Funnies

The way toddlers talk is so cute! I love it. ❤ Ellie calls her sweatshirt “sweatschwirt”.

Ellenor says “we” a lot instead of our. We had been up in Rockford for some Dr appointments & were on our way home. She says, “Are we going to ‘we’ house?” 😊 🥰 She also said “Do we need ‘we’ boots?”

At the Dr office, the nurse asks Lizzy, “Can I borrow your finger to take your pulse?”

Lizzy says, “As long as you leave it attached. I’m going to need it later!” 🤣

Ellie was eating some pie & finished it. She says, “I love that pie! Some of it is in my ‘stummy!'” (Stomach/tummy)

Ellenor loves dates. We buy the huge bags at Costco (they’re not very expensive & a healthy treat!). So one night she brought the bag over to me & days, “Look, it says ‘Dates Ellenor!'” She told me I should give one to Lexa also, so I did & then Ellie started crying, saying that Lexa had eaten her favorite one. 🙄🤪🤦‍♀️🤣 Life is never dull! 😍

After I gave away her favorite date, she went to get her unicorn light so she could find another favorite one in the bag of dates. 🤣

We were watching a movie in bed while Ellie played with some toys on the bed with us. She hid a small toy & asked me to find it. I looked around & found it under her pillow (that she had her head on!) She laughed & laughed, this awesome belly laugh. And then we did it again, & again & again. Special times. ❤😍

Ellenor asked me one evening if she could have a piece of jerky (she does most nights) & I said, “Not tonight.”

She asks, “Then can I have my applesauce?”

“No, it’s after 8, I think it’s too late. Let’s get ready for bed.”

Ellie: “But, then I have nothing to put in my mouth!!”

(Don’t feel too sorry for her, she ended up with a fig AND a date!) 😊

I asked Ellenor what she ate for dinner & she says (while counting it off on her fingers), “beans, rice, & um…’muff-loaf!'”🤣

It was so cute I asked her to tell Papa what she had eaten and she says, “beans, rice, & um, I can’t say that word!” ❤😊
