October 2022 Family Funnies
Monkey in the middle is now officially called “Middle in the Monk” at our house, thanks to Ellenor. 😀
On our way home from our weekly IV therapy (Week 12 of 20), Xanna & I were talking about what kind of a dog someone had.
I said, “I think they used to have chocolate labs.”
Keira in the backseat says, “Oooh! Sounds painful!” 🙄🤣
Xanna & I were talking about a couple movies while we were working on potatoes for dinner, talking about 2 Christian movies we have & saying that we should introduce a friend to a particular one to start…
Xanna: “We should watch this one first….It’s still cheesy, but like gouda cheese, not American; You know, digestible.” 🤣😂
Ellie: “Can I save my chili? I don’t have enough energy to eat it!”
Me: “That’s funny…usually food gives you energy, so if you don’t have much, you should eat it!”
Ellie: “Wow! That’s amazing!” As she jumps into my chair. 😮😂
Ellie started taking off a pair of pants that she had just put on over another pair…
Me: “Ellie, why are you doing that? You just put them on!”
Ellie: “They’re making my other pants hot!”😅
Xanna: “Where’s my nasal paper?!?”
Me: “Nasal paper? Haha, that’s a good one!”
Xanna: “Well, you know, we have toilet paper…so, it just makes sense!”
Ellie to Xanna: “You don’t have sock pants like I do!” 🤩 (She doesn’t remember wearing tights before – she had leggings instead the past couple years.)
We were in the car on the way home from a cold last shooting sports session. The heater was working well & I was turned the heat down.
Logan says, “Well, Mom’s warm now, so she’ll turn down the heat. If you’re still cold, too bad. If you’re hot like us, well, we have some cooler bags!” 😅🤣
At shooting sports, the last session there is a biathlon of sorts…you run around the building, shoot 4 rounds, run around the building, shoot, then run one last time.
Lucas came to sit down after he finished & says, “I fell down & got the wind knocked out of me. And I lost my gum. So, I guess I got the wind & gum knocked out of me!!” 😀
