Product Testing (& Moderation!)

I love to do things like product testing. When I first quit my job in 2003 to stay home with the kids, I was always looking for ways to make money as a stay at home Mom. I got involved with a lot of survey companies, doing mystery shopping & online surveys. I did that for several years & it worked well for us. I no longer have the time, but there are a few companies that I still receive offers from and lately I’ve been doing a lot of Product Testing.

I enjoy it a lot. It’s a good fit for the busy season of life we are in. I can’t talk about current stuff I’m testing, but I got selected to review a Homeschool Planner (waiting for it to come in the mail any day!!) and I’m so excited about that! I’ve tested/reviewed many school curricula, a game, diapers, cereal, snacks, beverages, etc…

However, just like anything- moderation is key! I have to choose to spend my time wisely, because I don’t have an infinite amount of time. While I enjoy doing surveys & that kind of thing, it’s not very profitable in the season we are in. I make sure my priorities are done first!

    • Thanks for asking! When I was doing surveys, Pinecone Research was the premier company to work for, but hard to get into. It’s been many years since I’ve looked into them, so I don’t even know if they are still around, but they paid $10 vs. most survey companies paying $1-2 per survey.

Mindfield Online is the company I work for most currently. And I just discovered I have $20 to cash out through them! Sweet! 🙂 If you are interested, I’ll try to see if I can share a referral link. I get a lot of products to test from them.

Also I’m a part of Homeschool.com’s FB Product Testing page that has offered a lot of opportunities including CTC Math, a game, a Literature curriculum, Argo Math & most recently the Planner that I’m so excited about! 🙂

I can probably find more if you want! Let me know. I used to do some work for Amazon, about 4-5 years ago. It was fun & I made good money doing it. I can’t remembered what it’s called or if they still do it, but it was pretty great!

      • I will say, Pinecone was the company everyone wanted to work for & they have always been very exclusive. They only recruit randomly a couple times a year or by referral
