Flynnie’s Diner in Dixon

We like to take our kids on “dates”. They each get their turn to pick where we go. We take them out for their birthdays for a birthday date & also cycle through so everyone gets a turn. Sometimes a child chooses to bring a sibling with them.

A local place we discovered a year or two ago is Flynnie’s Diner in Dixon. It has become a favorite place to go on dates. They are open for breakfast & lunch. They serve breakfast the whole time they are open, and start lunch at 11.

They have really good, home-cooked food, a wide variety, & generous portions. The servers are always friendly & it’s a very inviting atmosphere also.
